3/4 in high performance synthetic 12 strand rope is stronger than wire rope at 1/8th the weight. Because it's braided, not twisted it won't rotate when loaded. It rolls up into a small coil and won't kink like wire rope. It has limited stretch if used at least at a 7:1 design factor. It's important to store these lines away when not in use and avoid getting them dirty or running over them with equipment.
